SANITARY PADS TO NEEDY GIRL –CHILD
St. Mark Institute of Health Sciences kindly requests your assistance for support funds to provide and distribute sanitary pads to needy girl-child students in 15 schools in Wakiso and Kampala Districts.
St. Mark Institute of Health Sciences among other services provides free Girl-Child Education.
We have noted in our research that poor or no access to sanitary pads quite often results in
(i) frequent absence of the girl-child student from school,
(ii) leads to poor performance in class subjects and other extra curricular activities, and
(iii) ultimately leads to high drop out of school.
The assistance for funding for which this institution is requesting will therefore go a long way in furthering our goal of free girl-child education,
