CMS is soliciting comments on how to improve Medicare in a quest for “Value vs. Volume”. Most proposals continue Fee-For-Service that wastes $100,000/MD/yr, and add more complicated reporting for ‘quality’ measures.
DPCC at 10-12% of total health costs* would reduce paperwork, improve primary care access, and give primary care offices the means to improve care and manage populations, at the same or lower total cost.
Measuring health confidence gives practices useful feedback and quality measures without increasing the documentation burden.
