Improve mental health care in this country in an effort to reduce or eliminate acts of ultra-violence.

Created by B.R. on December 16, 2012

The lack of accessible and relevant mental health care in this country has lead to a sharp increase in acts of ultra-violence. To this end, we need accessible, affordable and relevant mental health care in this nation. This includes creating programs to train more professionals, funding to create accessible care for the low-income majority, and to create proactive outreach programs help people who are suffering from various forms of mental illness. Proactive care and outreach is key.

Concurrently we need laws protecting workers and students from discrimination related to mental health diagnosis and care programs. This would include but not be limited to adding a statement to the Workers Rights statements in most work-places, in effect creating a separate protected status.
