Improve the nutritional quality of the public school breakfast/lunch system.

Created by V.S. on February 23, 2013

It is known that the quality of the public school nutrition system is below average, but it is also dangerous. The foods served to children ages 4-14 are high in saturated fats and sugars, but it is lacking in vitamins, minerals, and good fibers. This is causing an influx of health problems in young children, including vitamin deficiencies such as iron-based anemia. Children spend a good portion of their lives eating school food, so it is especially important to resolve this problem.
