Improve our school systems to 21st century educational standards.

We believe the Obama Administration should improve our school systems to reflect 21st century educational standards. We need to improve the curriculum so that it will focus on technology, math, foreign language, science, business and the health field. We need to bring back vocational education and create a multicultural literacy curriculum. So our students can successful compete with others from all over the world. We need to stop teacher layoffs and the teacher hiring freeze. Due to budget cuts, special education students are in overcrowded general education classrooms with no or little support. Remedial programs have been cut and after school programs are hanging by a thread. Our nation's students deserve better. Tell the Obama Administration to fight for education.
