improve the quality of life for Americans afflicted with Parkinson Disease through FDA reform.

Created by L.B. on November 22, 2011

Parkinson's afflicts nearly 2 million Americans. It is not a disease reserved for the elderly; it also alters the lives of young adults. It slowly steals our ability to move, strips away our dignity, and in the process steals our lives. Imagine being increasingly trapped inside your own body. There is no cure.

All we have is one drug in the same form as it was introduced over 50 years ago. This wonder pill works for awhile but side effects creep in that can be as disabling as the disease itself.

A far superior infusion delivery method was introduced over 10 years ago in Europe. Despite ample clinical proof of safety and efficacy; the gel form proves four times more beneficial, the FDA has delayed its approval for 11 years. Please sign so that the FDA will end more tests and approve now.
