Improve the USPS (United States Postal Service) package tracking system.

Created by R.P. on August 16, 2013

Like UPS and FedEx the Post Office offers Package tracking, however unlike its competitors the tracking from the USPS is almost useless. FedEx and UPS update their package tracking information at every step the Post Office Does not. I am following a package I'm currently waiting for and the information hasn't changed in almost two days since my package left the sorting facility.

I know this isn't strictly necessary, knowing where my package is wont make it get here faster, but I like knowing where it is. I personally see no reason why the USPS should lag behind its competitors in this. Packages are scanned and tracked every step of the way, so the system is already in place. I just ask that the information is relayed back to the customer clearer and with more detail.
