Improve the working conditions for the men and women who "Move America", our nations professional truck drivers.

Created by C.K. on September 24, 2011

Trucking has become known as "The Last American Sweatshop" where wages have not kept up with the rate of inflation. Transportation companies and State governments are abusing the professional driver with 'anti-idling' laws, which makes their working/living environment an unsafe one. Trucking companies are not paying their drivers a fair and equitable wage, instead, shorting them on their miles driven by as much as 50%, or paying a driver "shag" pay, $20.00 for a full days work! Finding a safe haven in which to shut down for a federally mandated 10 hour break is nearly impossible in many States. The list of abuses go on and on, and professional drivers are now being regulated to death, with no fair compensation being given.
