Improving the Recycling of Natural Resources

Created by A.D. on October 04, 2015

By recycling paper, cardboard, metals, plastics, and glass, you can help reduce the harmful impacts associated with the extraction of the raw materials used to make these resources, including greenhouse gas emissions, oil spills, deforestation, biodiversity loss, and water pollution. Recycling can save money through avoided disposal and hauling costs. For example, the Brooklyn Brewery in Brooklyn, New York, recycled their materials and it reduced their annual cost by $25,000. Reusing materials that are recycled can save the environment by avoiding unnecessary production and reduce the company's waste.
Recycling would help benefit company's save money and it would save the environment from pollution.
