I am the parent of an older child that lives with severe multiple disabilities that require use of diapers to address her toileting needs. It is very difficult to take her out in public for extended periods of time because eventually she will need to be changed. Usually our only options are to change her on the floor of our van, the floor of a public restroom or go home. I really hope to get something like Changing Places toilets here in the United States of America for the modesty, privacy and dignity of people like my daughter. All people of all abilities deserve to go out in public if they want to with no worries about where to take care of their toileting issues, with or without a parent or caregiver, just like the rest of us. www.changing-places.org
