This petition is to stop the perputuation of gun violence that is rampant througout our society. This violence is glorified by Hollywood through movies and video games. Simply putting an "R" rating on either has not prevented minor children from seeing these movies or playing the video games. Worse, movies are being titled "Head Shot" and video games are teaching children how to shoot assualt weapons and reload high capacity magazines. Any weapons banning legislation that does not also involve a complete removal of the depiction of these weapons will continue to sensationalize their use and make them attractive. We are petitioning the Obama administration to guarantee that any gun control legistlation will include a complete ban and removal of these weapons from movies and video games.
