To include a deeper education on the history of Ireland within our public schools

Created by C.N. on December 16, 2012

The public education system has been able to teach our students about every major culture the world hosts except for the Irish culture. We learned about egypt, japan, england, france, germany, italy, so why not Ireland? This is a sign of disrespect that this country holds toward the culture who sacrificed their lives for this country. I'm not asking for alot just that we show the proper amount of respect and give our children a better view of the culture that saved the union than the potato famine.
