Click on "OPEN PETITIONS" above, and you'll see the 3 current pages (All Petitions, Trending, and Popular) display only petition titles and signature totals.
This makes it impossible to quickly determine how much time petitions have left to acquire 25,000 signatures. And because the promise to answer each one that reaches that threshold is the major attraction of this site, that's one of the first things we need to know.
To put it bluntly, why should we waste time on petitions (no matter how appealing they are) that appear destined to have their text and signatures erased? That's what happens to all those that don't reach 25,000 after 30 days, such as this one that wound up 23,000 short:
