Include factory farm animals in the Animal Welfare Act. Standards for the care and slaughter of these animals.

Created by J.R. on June 10, 2012

Please urge congress to create and pass a bill concerning the millions of animals that are used in factory farming. Currently there are no regulated standards in factory farming. Factory farming include cattle, broiler chickens, egg laying chickens, pigs, veal, sheep, goats, and animals used in the fur and leather trade industries. We need to speak for these animals because the Animal Welfare Act does not protect them in any way. We need to adopt regulations such as other and European countries banning the cruel and unusual practices used today in producing meat, wool, leather and eggs and fur. Please sign this petition for the start of a discussion regarding these animals. Factory farms and intensive animal practices are only getting larger. They need a voice. They need your voice.
