More than one-third of U.S. adults (35.7%) are obese. The First Lady has a wonderful idea for obese kids with the "Let's move" programs to get them back in shape. Why not the same thing for adults through our insurance? Insurance covers diet and nutrition programs when Dr's recommend their patients (who are obese/morbidly obese) to get a referral to see a dietitian or a nutritionist to help them eat right and recieve the right nutrients for their body. Insurances should also allow obese individuals to be covered to have a fitness person/personal trainer show them the right was to lose weight for their body type (sense everyone's body is different when they work out) which will lower the adult obese rate in the U.S. which will then lower BP, heart disease, strokes, etc.
