The sequester may significantly impact both federal employees facing furloughs and all others who depend on services that may be reduced. Since the sequester is the result of the Legislative and Executive branches not being able to agree on a budget, we the undersigned ask you to issue an executive order that includes all elected members of the Legislative and Executive branches in any furloughs of federal workers. We believe this will provide those responsible for creating a working budget an opportunity to lead by example and share in the sacrifices being made by others while also providing both additional savings and motivation to those responsible for getting the job done.
