This petition is intended to include medically needed dental coverage in the Affordable Healthcare Act. Medically needed dental procedures are health issues and are presently not covered under the Healthcare Act and are not covered under most Medical Insurance plans. However, it is a known fact that infections and other dental issues can be the cause of serious medical conditions.
