The majority of Americans are not happy with the way their government is being run. Lobbyists determine which laws are brought to the floor, and most current politicians are so disassociated with the modern American that public interest is no longer our government's current stance.
The majority of Americans chose not to vote, however an option like this would not only encourage Americans to vote but would also give Americans an interest in who their candidates will be. The possibility here could fundamentally change our country and eliminate a lot of the corruption that the general American is currently feeling towards candidates that do not represent them.
