Include pay reduction on the the members of congress when negotiating a balanced U.S. budget.

Created by Y.V. on November 20, 2012

The House and Senate Members both recieve salaries over $250,000. Many americans have had to except pay cuts to maintain their jobs, even futher taking on part time jobs that offer no benefits. Congressional benefits include, health care, pensions, payed staff, air fare, and all the bells and whistles that come with the job. If Congress is serious about budget cuts, starting with thenselves would not only show good faith to " We the people", but humility and a greater understanding of what the average american has had to cut in their lives.

Sincerely, one of many.
