Educating students about their own, as well as others sexualities to normalize the idea so it isn't foreign or negative to the public eye. This will stop hate at the source-uneducated youth. Helping future generations understand LGBTQ.LGBTQ students are more likely to have problems at school because they are bullied. LGBTQ students are also more likely to commit suicide, be diagnosed with anxiety and depression. Having a safe school environment is vital for the LGBTQ youth. Not all sex education includes a positive portrayal of LGBTQ or includes chapters on condoms and protection for LGBTQ individuals. Students are left without proper education, even though the STI and STD rate are higher among LGBTQ individuals.
