Online voting is safer than using easily discarded paper ballots and corrupted voting machines. We now bank online, buy and sell online using credit cards with the same security corporations, banks and government use to conduct business. Voting online is a safe, useful adjunct to traditional ways as recently proven in NJ. We can pay so much per vote on a secure credit card to pay for the system and/or require stiff mandatory jail sentences for hacking the vote. Instead of waiting every four years to vote, we can keep up with accelerating change and vote on issues as they come up. We the people could make propositions directly and have them voted on up or down, bypassing Big Money, corrupt politicians and special interest's propositions. Online voting can easily double voter turnout.
