Include in the The Servicemembers Civil Relief Act, restriction of States to require the surrendering of issued Licenses

Created by D.P. on January 28, 2014

Upon reporting to active military duty, residence in NY State (leaving residency), already qualified, paid for, lawfully granted NY State Pistol Permit (for Life unless revolked for cause) are required to be turned in, and the person's pistol firearms surrendered or sold.

Upon returning to New York State from active duty, the person must re-apply for a NEW pistol permit, pay hundreds of dollars again, and waste months of time, and government time to re-aquire a new permit: then purchase new fire arms.

Also, license types are downgraded from concealed carry to only target shooting - Right to Bear Arms nullified, - what did they serve for?

Stop states from taking away lawfully and legally aquired licenses, just because of service to our country - include this restriction in the SCRA.
