I actually think that it would easier for consumers to know how much they will spend when they buy something.
Indeed, say you have $50 in your wallet to buy groceries and you buy them for $49, you would actually pay more than $50! These situations could be avoided if taxes were simply included in the price tag. Honestly, even if it is good to know the amount of taxes you're paying, I think that what really matters to the consumer is how much is going to leave his/her bank account, wallet etc.
We could mention the tax share on the receipt as many countries do.
