The federal Do Not Call list provides protection for those who sign up against automated sales calls. It should be amended to include Text messages to cell phone and mobile numbers, as they also incur unwanted costs to their users.
Or Initiate a National Do Not Text List for people to register mobile phone numbers and block them from receiving multiple spam "texts" from unknown businesses.
