include the Transgender community in equal protections from discrimination in all its forms.

Created by R.S. on July 29, 2013

Discrimination run rampant, Transgender individuals still do not receive equal protection under the law. The term "sex" does not mean that a transgender individual will be deemed male or female even after gender reassignment. and may still be discriminated against in the workforce and/or in federal benefits. We ask the administration to strengthen the wording and terminology and be all inclusive. Extended equal protection as it was meant to be that all people are equal regardless of their choices in life and deserves the chance to have the pursuit of happiness. Transgender individuals are still discriminated against in the workplace and in being denied benefits, inheritance and passed over for promotions.
