Include Veterans who served honorably before 9/11 to become citizens under section 329 of INA (Period 1993-2001)

Created by R.C. on February 09, 2013

I am an honorably discharged 90% service connected veteran who served as a medic for over 8 years (1993-2001) in the U.S. Army. I am asking congress to issue an executive order which will cover the time period before 9/11 for soldiers who served to be granted their citizenship under section 329. There are many others like me who have this problem. I passed my citizenship interview several times but was denied the swearing in process on the basis that 329 only applies to soldiers who are serving since 9/11 and certain wars before 1992. I am calling on our President to give justice to Veterans who served before 9/11 and include them for expedited citizenship!! I took the oath which states that I am an American citizen, I think it's only fair that I receive my citizenship in return.
Thanks!
