The current consumption of water bottles is detrimental to the environment. If we extend bottle bills to place deposits on water bottles, there will be more incentive to recycle and will reduce the impact on the environment. Various states such as Oregon and New York have already implemented the deposits, and they have shown an increase in recycling of water bottles and decrease in pollution caused by water bottles.
