I propose the replacement of the existing national anthem, which portrays war and violence as a romantic thing, with Woody Guthrie's "This Land is Your Land" as it portrays America as a great country and one of and for all the people. This would be a unifying anthem, one that all Americans could be proud of and feel like is part of them and reinforces the fact that America belongs to everyone.
