There is undeniable evidence that the global climate is changing. The United States of America is the second biggest emitter of carbon dioxide emissions. The US emits 5,461,014 thousand tonnes of CO2 annually. The earth will not be able to sustain this type of rampant pollution for much longer. Being the world's only super-power, the United States needs to set an example for other countries by reducing its carbon dioxide emissions through renewable energy.
