By increasing the average salary of the enlisted service member it will increase the overall welfare and mental state of the military as a whole.
It is not unknown that service members are among the most underpaid and military families struggle day to day.
The military has programs in place for service members to seek assistance but it is frowned about negatively by the superiors. Because of this burden, many service members are reluctant to seek help and struggle day to day causing many other issues.
Currently, the military has the highest divorce and suicide rate per capita than any other demographic in the United States.
Lets do something about it.
