Local communities are suffering during this low growth period increasing the need for areas of support to babies and their mothers. In particular these families need not only financial support (WIC) or insurance for their children (Medicaid), but they also needs supportive community center where mothers can come together to form support groups who are suffering from the same situations.
Lastly, while WIC and Medicaid have been in service of countless babies and mothers, these programs have no funding for outreach and advertisement and it may not be their job. But there are countless more babies and mothers who are afraid to get help or who just do not know that help is available. Please increase awareness in public schools, public community centers, and especially community hospitals.
