Global climate change has accelerated at an increasing pace. A massive report submitted to the U.N. by climate change scientists indicated that due to climate change, severe natural disasters such as Typhoon Haiyan, Superstorm Sandy, and Hurricane Katrina are very likely to occur more often in the near future. Petition the White house to encourage energy companies to use clean energy sources like solar power, wind power, and hydroelectric power in energy production and to control the use of energy sources which produce greenhouse gases, such as gasoline and coal.
