Something seriously needs to be done about these kind of things. Why can a celebrity commit multiple felonies and get away virtually unscathed? I would (and beleive many others would) love to see the day a world-famous celebrity gets stuck in jail awaiting his/her trial instead of setting more terrible examples for people everywhere. This would as well increase the fairness of the situation; imagine a 17 year old boy is charged with a felony and has lived below the poverty line his whole life. He is unable to pay his bail and is stuck in jail awaiting his trial and is regarded amongst the community as, well, a criminal. Then a celebrity commits the same crime and is free to go until his trial and is regarded by the community as just misguided and unfortunate. What kind of logic is that?
