Increase the Budget of NASA

NASA has accomplished extraordinary feats since it was founded in 1958. The scientific findings invoke a sense of joy, wonder, and imagination in the general public. But ever since the space race, it has been in decline, which we find disheartening. The people want to continue exploration of the Cosmos. We have the knowledge and capabilities to travel to other star clusters, such as Alpha Centauri, within a lifetime; but not the funding to do so. How astonishing, it would be, to see what wonders are lurking 5 light years away.
NASA needs an increase in funding, to expedite the rate of discovery and to remain a world leader in science. Programs like USRP need to be brought back, while also increasing the rate and number of current missions.
