We need to stop thinking small. It is time for humanity to expand into the rest of the solar system. When a species stops evolving it goes extinct. When a civilization stops expanding, it turns inward, attempting to preserve what it had and it withers and dies. Mankind needs new horizons and new frontiers. New challenges breed new inventions. New inventions lead to new opportunity. nasa needs funding and we are too busy with warfare and social problems to help..
