Increase the budget of the only agency that has an everlasting effect on humanity--NASA.

NASA is severely under-budgeted. I realize that I might not fully understand all of the nation's monetary allocations, but I do realize that NASA is a driving force behind innovation, education, inspiration, nation galvanization, and many positive holistic long-run effects on humanity. This is obvious as NASA has contributed to much more than just space innovation. NASA creates heroes. Carelessness for such an agency eventually leads to a scientifically illiterate receding country, where we just watch other nations pass us in technology and the human-nature for outward exploration becomes a memory from the 1960s.
