Increase development and funding of true high speed rail corridors and inner-city rail connections.

Created by D.O. on September 23, 2011

High speed rail is an important aspect of transportation that other industrialized countries are far outpacing the U.S. in developing. Increased development of high speed rail corridors and technologies will help create new industries and new jobs in the U.S., as well as give travelers an extra (greener) option for moving from city to city. Development of these technologies and implementation of new inner-city connections to true high speed (similar to what is seen in China and Germany) rail lines will be beneficial to Americans for years to come. Much like the highway system of the past century help shape our country and make it a leader, now is the time to start making meaningful investments in our nations infrastructure future.
