Increase Discipline in the United States Military to Reduce Misconduct and Prevent the Deaths of Innocent Civilians

Created by J.J. on April 25, 2013

Every year, thousands of civilians are killed by "accident" overseas, and the soldiers responsible usually escape prosecution unscathed. Civilians of foreign countries should be treated with the respect that they deserve, or the United States will find itself with an increasing number of enemies.

For example, in the Haditha Incident, in which 24 unarmed Iraqi men, women, and children were slaughtered, the main soldier responsible, along with several of his mates, escaped a successful prosecution. Instead of facing a prison sentence, they were given a dishonorable discharge and nothing more.

Please sign this petition to end unnecessary violence. Our soldiers need to have a better system to report military crimes, as several cases go unnoticed every year.
