Fund a better education system, based on educating children on how to be happy and successful. This will increase general knowledge of adults, and make our society a better place to work and live.

Start accelerated education at an early age so that children can cope with the rigors of different high and middle schools. Pay teachers more and give them less rigorous work schedules so they can teach better.
Educating children better will in turn lead to better educated adults. Adults that can do harder jobs and be better people will make the future US a better place. A country of better educated people will be a happier place.
