Increase education in schools and beach resorts about how humans are more dangerous to sharks than they are to us.

Created by K.S. on October 12, 2015

The ocean is a vast mysterious place with less than five percent, so having some fears about the unknown is acceptable. Although, having fears about sharks has mainly been caused by distortion in the media. By increasing the level of awareness of sharks, people will be more aware that sharks are not giant villains of the sea and out to eat everything. Also learning about sharks will allow the public to realize that: being cautious about sharks is understandable, they are large predators, but fearing the ocean just because of sharks is illogical because sharks are much more shy and unwilling to even go near humans. And at most, they also have poor vision so might mistake you for something tasty, but will immediately spit out humans.
