Increase the federal funding of NASA

Space exploration and eventual colonization is the future of the human race. NASA, as one of the foremost promoters of this, is woefully underfunded however. It has been proven to be an effective organization but imagine what it could accomplish with significantly increased funding. Private companies have recently begun to fill the void in space advancement but they will be unable to reach the proficiency achieved by NASA for many years. Space is a source of hope for the future, cohesion between human factions, and an absurd level of job creation. Earth can only last so long and so the sooner we recognize the relative insignificance of the morass of black holes that feed off of our tax dollar, the better.
