Increase federal funding for U.S. space exploration.

Created by K.S. on April 02, 2013

As an undergraduate physics major at a private University, I recently have begun to understand the importance of space exploration. The James Webb space telescope (cost: 8.8 billion dollars) will be able to capture images in the infrared that may tell us, more accurately, the age and size of the universe. Besides the telescope, space exploration may be helpful in terms of resources for Earth or a colonization of a habitable exoplanet. As technology becomes more advanced at a rapid pace, the near future may hold solutions to many of humankind's natural problems. With a large boost for space exploration from the government, our future may be brighter than it seems.
