We the people who work very hard every day and only make minimum wage and still can't make ends meet. We have to work 2 jobs or even 3 to pay for classes, bills, food and even gas.
By increasing minimum wage to 10 dollars an hour, many people will be able to quit several of their jobs and be above the poverty line.
If people can get a higher wage, they may be able to stay in their houses longer and want to go to school for a better education.
By doing this we can over come poverty by having people work hard for their money. People will work harder than usual to be sure that the product they are making, serving, or selling is up to their code and the code of the company.
People will now have pride in their work if they get a raise.
