Due to the increasing cost of living in the country, we need to raise the federal minimum wage to at least $12.50 an hour so that more people with minimum wage jobs will be able to afford the cost of living in the United States Of America. This will also help to eliminate poverty by bringing people with minimum wage jobs above the poverty level.
