The minimum wage level since 1990 has increased roughly 20%. In this same time, the cost of living has risen 67% and the average income of a CEO has increased nearly 300%. The diminishing of the middle class as a result of this needs to be addressed and the minimum wage needs to better reflect the growth seen by this country in the past 3 decades.
