Foster care youth do not always have the outside resources to assist them in building a life once they are no longer in the system. Many will end up homeless, with limited long term resources, and often end up making very poor life decisions. To put an end to this cycle and supply services to assist their beginning stages to adulthood we respectfully request for supportive services be prolonged to age 23. This solution will not only provide them with resources that will held them begin adulthood, it would also keep foster care youth on a similar scale as their peers who can been on their parent’s health insurance until the age of 26. The support of our President would be a great honor and would also help bring the future of all America's youth to the forefront of our great nation.
