Amtrak is the people's national response to the certainty that our increaingly clogged roadways will seriously impede economic prosperity. Our federal government frequently does what the private sector is unwilling or incapable of accomplishing. Amtrak is one such government response to the lack of private sector response to an increasingly dire outlook for our roadways. Support increased funding of Amtrak.
