N.A.S.A. has done many great things for this nation, from them we can thank for our water filters, portable tools, long-distance telecommunications, memory foam, insulin pumps, an over 6,300 patents. Currently, they are grossly underfunded given the possibilities that they have in the future. The contributions to modern-day life that this agency has provided to us are immense and underappreciated. I propose that we raise the budget to allow for N.A.S.A. to research and invent even more. Next-generation cancer treatment technologies are already on the way, courtesy of the I.S.S. and N.A.S.A., just imagine for a moment what the possibilities are if they are allowed to research even more. Cures to cancer and other diseases? Space-age technology? Flying cars?
