Increase funding to NASA and other space programs

We the people of the United States believe that it is in our best interests to begin funding programs that encourage space exploration, knowledge, and help secure the future of not only ourselves, but the human race. Space exploration should be treated as one of, if not the, most important venture of our time. Without causing offence to anyone, it is simple to say that space travel and potential colonization is an evolutionary strategy that can protect the future of the human race. An increase in funding to NASA can help foster a pride in our nation along with an increase of space fueled jobs and education standards. We the People hereby petition the United States Government to increase the federal funding of NASA in order to protect the future of our country, our children, and all humans.
