Increase the funding of NASA and reinstate the manned program. Make it a penny for every taxpayer dollar.

This petition is to have the Obama administration increase the funding for NASA and revamp the manned program. Currently, NASA hardly gets any funding. NASA receives a fraction of a penny for every taxpayer dollar. I think that the budget or funding should be one penny for every taxpayer dollar. To put things in perspective, the 850 billion dollar bailout was greater than the 50 year running total of NASA. By increasing funding NASA can create more jobs from astronauts to mathematicians, scientists, and technologists. This funding could help get the manned program up and running again further stimulating the educational pipeline of America. Its about time Congress does something for the long term future of this country so why not start with part of what made it so great?
